A Journey Through History: JHS AP Department Partners with Adamson University for an Educational Tour

The JHS AP Department successfully conducted an Educational Field Trip for the AP Club Members on February 4, 2026. promoting education through real-life experiences. This was made possible through the partnership with the Basic Education Department of Adamson University. 

The AP Club Members first arrived in Adamson University and were introduced with the program and objectives, this marked the beginning of a fun filled experience to the historic landmark, Fort Santiago in Intramuros together with Gradeschool & Highschool Students from Adamson and Preschool Students from Manila City . The students learned a lot of new and interesting information about the History of the Philippines & Intramuros, beyond the classroom, making learning more engaging and memorable.

While exploring Fort Santiago, the participants gained new and interesting insights as they explored a part of the 67 hectare area of Intramuros. Walking through the grounds of Fort Santiago, it gave the participants a deeper understanding and appreciation through the historic and cultural place.

After visiting Fort Santiago, the program was concluded through a meaningful activity in which the AP Club Members gave gifts including school supplies to the Gradeschool Students in Manila City who were there with us during the trip. Promoting the Manresan Maxim, “Tatak Manresa: Kapatid sa Kapwa”. The children were excited and happy as they received thoughtful gifts from the AP Club Members. Bringing the trip to a memorable and heartfelt close.
