Our Manresan student-athletes showed great talent and sportsmanship at the recent NCR Palaro. Their impressive performance has once again brought honor to Manresa School and proven our excellence in athletics.
The excitement reached a fever pitch during the final matches held yesterday, Friday, March 6, 2026. Representing Parañaque City, Leonardo Manio III faced off against Taguig–Pateros in a Battle for the Championship. Leonardo emerged victorious, clinching the Gold Medal in Lawn Tennis.
In addition to his championship win, Leonardo received a prestigious special award as the "Most Bemedalled Tennis Player (Boys)," recognizing his dominant performance throughout the tournament. His victory is a historic milestone for the school, as he officially earns the honor of representing the National Capital Region (NCR) in the upcoming Palarong Pambansa.
Adding to the school's medal haul, Rafael Benigno Cablitas showcased incredible grit and tenacity on the court. In a Battle for Third Place against Taguig–Pateros, Rafael secured the Bronze Medal.
Behind every great athlete is a mentor who pushes them beyond their limits. A huge congratulations and heartfelt gratitude go to Mr. Bryan Pragoso, the dedicated coach of the Lawn Tennis team. His guidance, patience, and constant encouragement have been the backbone of this success.
As Leonardo Manio III prepares to carry the NCR colors to the national stage at Palarong Pambansa, the entire Manresan family stands behind him.
Congratulations to our student-athletes! Your Manresa family is incredibly proud of you.
