Grade 9 Students Share One Last Milestone as They Carry Out Their Final Research Defense
On March 13 and 16, 2026, the Grade 9 students of Manresa School concluded their academic year with a display of perseverance, creativity, and teamwork during their final research defense. Months of preparation, experimentation, and collaboration culminated in presentations that showcased each group’s dedication and ingenuity.
Groups presented their findings with confidence, guiding the panelists through the key results of their experiments or prototypes. Each presentation was accompanied by a printed copy of the final research paper, allowing the panel to provide thoughtful feedback and suggestions to refine the studies further.
Beyond the technical details, the event highlighted the students’ growth over the year. “It feels amazing to see all our hard work come together,” said one participant, reflecting the pride and relief shared by many. From brainstorming ideas to overcoming obstacles, every group demonstrated curiosity, determination, and the ability to work together toward a common goal.
As the day came to a close, it was clear that the final research defense was more than an academic requirement, it was a celebration of learning, resilience, and the students’ journey through Junior High School.
