Manresa School commemorates the 126th Birthday of Blessed Maria Antonia Bandres

On March 6, 2024, Manresa School commemorated the 126th Birthday of Blessed Maria Antonia Bandres with a morning Holy Eucharist. High School students gathered for the celebration presided over by Msgr. Melchor David, the newly appointed parish priest of ROLP. Msgr. David inspired the students to emulate Maria Antonia's pursuit of holiness, urging them to be witnesses of goodness and to lead others closer to God. The culmination of the mass was marked by a beautiful rendition of Bl. Antonia's song by the assembly.

In the afternoon, the Pastoral Ministry orchestrated a dedicated BEC (Basic Ecclesial Community) focused on delving into the life story of Bl. Antonia. Each caring group was assigned a segment of her life, and members passionately shared their randomly selected stories. The exchange was a profound exploration of Bl. Antonia's heroic virtues and enduring values. Each group also reflected on how her life serves as a poignant example for them to navigate their Christian journey.
